Hi, I’m Dhrubo Aditya, a tech enthusiast and aspiring software engineer with a passion for coding, gaming, and creative projects. Born on January of 2000 and raised in Bangladesh, my journey has been fueled by curiosity and a passion for technology. After starting my O'Levels classes, I moved to New York in 2016 and attended William Cullen Bryant High School. My high school years were marked by an intense focus on tech-related classes, including robotics, computer science, and AP Computer Science in which I achieved a perfect score.

Currently, I am pursuing a major in Computer Engineering at City Tech, continuing my academic journey in the field I love. Beyond my studies, I enjoy gaming, building PCs, and making sketches! Click Here to check them out.

Work

My journey into the workforce began almost immediately after I moved to New York at the age of 16. Over the years, I have held various positions that have honed my skills and shaped my career.

One of my significant roles was as a Parts Sales Manager at AutoZone. In this position, I focused on inventory management and customer satisfaction. I oversaw inventory operations to ensure optimal stock levels and presentation, assisted customers in identifying and locating the right parts, conducted diagnostics to recommend suitable products, and resolved customer issues. Additionally, I managed associate schedules and handled administrative tasks, implementing effective inventory restocking strategies and maintaining a visually appealing store layout to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. My role was pivotal in maintaining AutoZone's high standards of service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Alongside my jobs I was also engaged in a fellowship with Headstarter AI, where I gained hands-on experience in various aspects of technology and artificial intelligence. My individual responsibilities include building a website and creating a pantry tracker, both of which enhance my technical skills and project management abilities. As part of a team of four, we are tasked with developing five different AI models. Our final team project aims to either obtain 1,000 users or generate $1,000 in revenue, challenging us to combine technical proficiency with strategic thinking and market understanding.

Each of these roles has contributed to my growth, teaching me the importance of hard work, adaptability, and customer service. These experiences have not only shaped my professional skills but also my approach to challenges and opportunities in the workplace.While my roles may not directly relate to computer engineering, they have equipped me with invaluable skills such as problem-solving, customer service, and project management. These positions also highlight my adaptability and eagerness to learn, essential traits for any career. My ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain operational efficiency will undoubtedly contribute to my success in future computer engineering roles. Additionally, my current fellowship with Headstarter AI is providing me with practical experience in web development, project management, and AI model building, further preparing me for a career in computer engineering.

Discord Chat Bot:

Description: Developed a Python-based Discord chat bot designed to enhance user interaction within the server. The bot provides helpful tips, responds to user commands, and greets new members, creating a welcoming and informative community environment.

Technologies Used: Python, Discord API

Challenges: Implemented without machine learning, focusing on rule-based logic and user experience.

Accomplishments:

National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS): Proud member of NSHSS, recognized for academic excellence and leadership skills.

Chess Competition: Achieved 2nd place in a school-wide chess competition, showcasing strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Video Editing: Created engaging video edits of gameplay using Sony Vegas and HitFilm Pro, enhancing my creative and technical editing skills.

AutoCAD Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in creating detailed and precise technical drawings.

From a young age, I've been captivated by the world of technology and its endless possibilities. This fascination has driven me to constantly seek out new knowledge and skills, always eager to learn more and push the boundaries of what I can do. My journey has been one of continuous learning and exploration, fueled by a deep curiosity about how things work and why they happen.

Problem-solving is at the heart of who I am. I thrive on tackling complex challenges, finding innovative solutions, and making things work more efficiently. This mindset extends to all areas of my life, whether I'm diving into a new tech project, figuring out the best way to organize and manage tasks, or simply finding ways to make everyday processes smoother.

Curiosity is my guiding star. I'm always exploring, always asking questions, always looking for new perspectives. Whether it's reading up on the latest advancements in science and technology, researching space and its mysteries, or exploring new places and experiences, my thirst for knowledge never ceases.

This commitment to helping others drives me to offer support and guidance whenever I can, striving to make a difference in any way possible.

Balance and well-being are also key aspects of my life. While I'm passionate about technology and driven by curiosity, I also make time for activities that rejuvenate and inspire me. Gaming, sketching, exploring nature, and staying active are just a few ways I maintain this balance, ensuring I stay energized and focused.
